Harmon Guest House is so named after Harmon Heald, founder of the town of Healdsburg established in 1857. The design of the Harmon pioneer icon and supporting graphics were drawn and borrowed from etchings found in the Healdsburg Library archives, that documented the development of the town and surrounding North Sonoma County region. The profile of the face is that of Merritt Sher, the founding visionary behind the Piazza Hospitality Group.
