Works on Paper​  Paper is my favorite medium where ideas and inspiration manifest into forms of graphic design, art and sentiment. The appeal of paper is that it fixes a composition of information and thought to a material that can be both ephemeral and precious. The digital realm will continue to evolve as a sophisticated, unequaled form of communication and expression, however it cannot mimic the look, feel and innate quality of paper. I’m of the age and experience that bridges past and present methods of photography and design – from darkroom developer, measuring type with a Pica ruler, waxing stats onto mechanical art boards for offset printing, and now – logging into a desktop computer that encompasses all past techniques and more. My creative path began and evolved along the same trajectory as the Apple computer revolution and my work therefore reflects the integration of both traditional and new technologies where paper remains the constant – a landscape onto which I continue to play, explore and share...
