Hotel San Luis Obispo, located in the center of San Luis Obispo, is steps away from one of twenty-one historic California Missions located along the El Camino Real trail, now HWY 101. The hotel is developed on property what was once the center of the SLO's Chinatown that was home to the immigrants who helped build the railroad along the coast in the late nineteenth century. One of the objectives of the brand design was to honor this history by incorporating elements and philosophy of Chinese culture.
