Punahou is a private lower, middle and high school in Honolulu, Hawaii, established in 1841, it’s one of the oldest grade schools in the US. This book reviews through interviews, studies, graphs and imagery, how the new middle school was developed into an innovative, sustainable environment for learning. The project achieved one of the earliest LEED Gold awards given for school buildings.
